Teaching in the 21st century

Did you know that we were going to sing the song? That's what I will be doing with my students of 2º ESO A at IES San José de la Rinconada at Christmas time.

Learning is a question of attitude. We highly consider the interest of our students towards the subjects in the curriculum. We know it helps to learn better but also to teach better. From time to time we are not in the mood to face our pupils and help them notice how easy the topic we are about to teach may be. A friend of mine talked to me about a website that I want to share with you English Language Teaching and happiness terapad .There are plenty of worksheets wisely used to get to that neglected side of ourselves that is the emotional one while focusing on our target: teaching a second language.

Ahora estoy estudiando alemán. Mejor dicho, retomando mis conocimientos de una lengua que no utilizo desde hace mucho. Me gusta y espero poder comunicarme en ella.Sigamos con la música para aprender idiomas. ¿Conoceis a Herbert Grönemeyer? Tiene una amplísima discografía aunque quizás no sean tan reconocido como otros cantantes rock.Pero ¡el alemán también existe! Disfrutemos estudiando adjetivos de personalidad.

Crecemos continuamente y, afortunadamente, siempre conservamos algo de lo que éramos ayer. Escuchemos a los Beatles para amenizar la página y,sobre todo, para valorar todo lo que fuimos un día antes de empezar a enseñar-aprender como lo requiere el siglo XXI.
